13th September Friendly at Worsley Park [Marriott]

Hosted by former Whitefield member Stephen Samuels, the trio of myself, Tony Showman and Gary Silver played “super sixes” betterball. Despite its proximity, I’d never played at this course, I enjoyed its’ more modern design with both larger tees and greens, and a little more space off the fairways.

It was an overcast day, yet it was warm again.

Golf — I didn’t start well, I came into the game more in the middle and final third, but then tired for the last two holes (after that segment was won).

I was on the winning side in latter two six hole matches, it turned out Steve and I were the ones to pick up a few pounds towards the Chinese meal that followed!
